Name: Jan-Rowe Rodis Carretas
Position: Sweeper (tail-end)
Sweepers are skilled mountaineers that carefully check every step of the trek for possible left objects and other valuable belongings and equipment. The sweeper collects the items and immediately returns it to the owner may it be GARBAGE or something valuable. They are also the ones who psychologically push tired companions by means of vigorous talks and inspiring thoughts like the "45 minutes na lang lagi" phrase. The phrase still apllies to 2 to 4 hour treks. Quite unbelieavalble yet still works. Another function of a sweeper is aid-giver. A sweeper must always carry a first aid kit in cases of emergencies. A companion that faints along the way should be woke up using inhalants so as not to slow down the trek pacing or possibly cut the whole line and leave trekkers separated.
Gears and equipments required: HEADLAMP, FIRST AID KIT, UTILITY KNIFE, H2O & FOOD
